Cookie Policy

We use strictly necessary cookies and similar local storage to keep you signed in, secure authentication flows, remember language and product preferences, preserve a return route, and operate checkout. These are required for requested functionality. We do not currently use the Services for targeted advertising or sell cookie-derived data. We also keep a first-party, anonymous product-analytics identifier in local storage to understand how the product is used; it is not used for advertising and is never shared with third parties, and you can switch it off at any time under Account → Product analytics. Visitors in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland see a consent banner and this identifier stays off until they accept it; everywhere else it is on by default with the Account switch to turn it off.

We measure visits with our own first-party analytics service. It records the pages you view, how long you stay, the actions you take in the product, your approximate location (country, region and city derived from your IP address), your browser and device type, and a few technical signals used to tell people from automated traffic. Your IP address is not stored; only a keyed one-way hash of it is kept, to match requests and to limit abuse. We use no third-party trackers or advertising pixels, and this data is not sold, not shared with advertisers, and not combined across the sites we operate.

• xvr: a session cookie holding a random request identifier that links a page request to the measurement of that page. It is deleted when you close the browser.
• Outside the EU/EEA, the UK and Switzerland: xv, a first-party cookie holding a random visitor identifier for 13 months, plus a random session identifier in local storage.
• Inside the EU/EEA, the UK and Switzerland: nothing persistent is stored on your device. The identifiers live in session storage for the current tab only, and a session cookie, xvc, records that this mode is on. The same person is therefore counted as a new visitor on each visit.
• When you sign in or pay, our servers link the visitor identifier to your account on this site only, so we can tell real customers from automated traffic. It is never linked to your use of our other sites.
• Raw visit records are kept for 90 days and daily totals for 2 years.

Turning off Product analytics under Account, or declining in the consent banner, also turns visit measurement off in that browser. You can also block or delete these cookies in your browser settings; the site keeps working.

Browser settings can delete or block storage, but sign-in and saved preferences may stop working. If we introduce optional analytics, advertising, or other non-essential tracking, we will update this Policy and request consent where required before activating it.
