Terms of Service

These Terms are an agreement between you and YK TECH INC, Denver, Colorado, United States ("YK TECH," "we," or "us"). They govern ReadVideo, its APIs, and related transcription, subtitle, export, storage, and account services (the "Services"). By using the Services, you accept these Terms and the policies linked below.

You must be at least 13 years old and legally able to enter this agreement. If you use the Services for an organization, you represent that you can bind it. Keep your credentials secure, provide accurate account and billing information, and promptly report unauthorized use.

You retain ownership of media, links, transcripts, subtitles, edits, and other content you submit or create. You grant us a limited, worldwide license to host, copy, process, transcode, transcribe, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, and support the Services and deliver your requested output. You represent that you have all rights and permissions needed for the content and the requested processing, including any required consent from speakers or people depicted.

Speech recognition and AI-assisted output can contain errors, omissions, timing mistakes, or inappropriate text. You are responsible for reviewing output before publication or reliance. The Services are not legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice.

Prices are shown in the currency of the country you are browsing from (US dollars, euros or pounds sterling), and you are charged in that currency. Taxes may be added where required. Monthly plans are billed as a one-time purchase through the payment service identified at checkout: paying grants a 30-day period of credits and access, and the plan does not renew automatically. To keep a plan active, purchase again before the period ends. Checkout shows the provider, amount, and currency before you pay. Purchasing the same plan again while it is still active extends your current period by 30 days; if you purchased the one-time Starter pack and upgrade to a higher plan within 30 days of that purchase, its price is credited toward the upgrade once.

For purchases made through our online checkout, a third-party payment provider acts as merchant of record — the seller of record for the transaction — and its name appears on your payment statement alongside READVIDEO and on the payment receipt it sends you. Prices shown in US or Canadian dollars are before tax, and the merchant of record adds any applicable sales tax at checkout; prices shown in other currencies include any applicable VAT or GST, which the merchant of record collects and remits. YK TECH INC remains responsible for providing the Services and for product support.

Credits are limited, revocable contractual rights to use eligible ReadVideo Services. They are not money, stored value, a deposit, security, investment, or bank account; have no cash or redemption value; cannot be transferred, resold, withdrawn, or used to buy third-party goods; and may not be used in other products. Promotional credits may expire under the offer terms. Purchased credits do not expire except as disclosed at purchase — a monthly plan's credits expire 30 days after purchase — or as required to address fraud, refunds, chargebacks, or law. You must follow our Acceptable Use and Copyright Policies. Do not upload unlawful or infringing content, bypass access controls, disrupt the Services, impersonate others, or use output to harm people. We may remove content or suspend access when reasonably necessary to address abuse, security, legal requests, nonpayment, or material breach.

We may change or discontinue features, providers, limits, or prices. We will give reasonable advance notice of material changes that negatively affect a plan you have already paid for; price changes apply only to purchases made after the change, unless law permits otherwise. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

To the extent permitted by law, the Services are provided "as is" and "as available," without implied warranties of merchantability, fitness, non-infringement, or accuracy. To the extent permitted by law, YK TECH is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages. Our aggregate liability arising from the Services will not exceed the greater of US$100 or the amount you paid us for the Services during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not exclude liability that cannot legally be limited.

You must own or hold all necessary rights and authorization for any video, audio, or link content you upload or import. We process that content only on your instruction and, to the extent permitted by law, are not liable for any copyright or other infringement claim arising from it. You agree to indemnify us against any claims, damages, losses, and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from content you upload or import. On receipt of a valid infringement notice, we may remove the content and suspend the account involved; report suspected infringement to support@readvideo.ai.

You may choose to publish a transcript, and the video while its stored media still exists, as a public page that anyone can read without an account and that search engines may index. By publishing, you represent and warrant that you own the content or hold every right and permission needed to make it public, including any consent required from the people who speak or appear in it. You are solely responsible for what you publish and for any claim arising from it. We may remove published content, without prior notice, when we receive a complaint at support@readvideo.ai or at our discretion, and you can unpublish your own pages at any time. Repeated violations may lead us to close your account.

Colorado law governs these Terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in Denver, Colorado have exclusive jurisdiction, except where consumer law gives you a different mandatory forum or right. Before filing a claim, please contact support@readvideo.ai so we can try to resolve it. We may update these Terms and will post a new effective date; material changes will receive reasonable notice.
