Credits are the only unit ReadVideo bills against. This page collects the rates, the free tier, plan details, and the expiry rules in one place.

Rounded up to the next started minute, per job. Every job costs at least 1 credit.

Link imports
- • Baidu Netdisk links: billed at the link rate, sign-in required (no membership), up to 2 links / 20 GB per day.
- • For a large upload, "audio track only" extracts and uploads just the audio from a file over 512 MB — about 20× faster; playback afterward is audio only.

Free tier
- • Signed out: one free trial a day, up to 10 minutes.
- • First sign-in: a one-time welcome grant of 100 credits, valid 30 days.
- • Signed in: 10 free credits every day, valid 24 hours.
- • Free accounts (no active plan) process one file at a time; any active plan lifts this limit.

Expiry, rebuy & upgrade rules
- • Plan credits expire at the end of the current period; they do not carry over to a future purchase.
- • Buying the same tier again while it's still active extends the period by 30 days, and the remaining credits' expiry moves with it.
- • Upgrading to a higher tier starts the new plan's 30-day period right away; credits from the old plan keep their own expiry.
- • Upgrading from the Starter pack to a higher tier within 30 days credits the Starter pack's USD 9 back, once.
- • While a plan is active, tiers below it are unavailable to buy.
Failure refunds & refunds
- • If a transcription or add-on job fails, the credits it charged are returned to your balance automatically.
- • Unused credits can be refunded — see the Refund Policy.
- • Prices are shown in US dollars, with local prices in euros and pounds sterling in some regions.
- • US and Canadian dollar prices exclude tax, which is added at checkout; euro and pound prices include VAT where applicable.
- • Credits are non-transferable and cannot be cashed out or moved between accounts.
